Meet the Team
Bryce Davey is 18
years old and is homeschooled. His career goal is to become an Industrial or
Mechanical Engineer. Bryce was a member of a VEX robotics team for 3 years,
where he enjoyed attending the World championships in Texas and in Florida. He
has also competed in the Seaperch robotics challenge, and in many engineering competitions
at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. To inspire younger kids' interest in STEM,
Bryce teaches an Engineering Challenge class for 3rd - 6th
graders. Bryce is very excited to me a member if the of the Cubix3
FTC team, and as the primary builder for the team. In his spare time he enjoys
skiing, playing handbells, juggling, unicycling,
and designing cool contraptions.

Kaitlyn Davey is 16 years old, in tenth grade, and is homeschooled. Her favorite subjects in school are Algebra and reading, Kaitlyn's career goal is to become a chemical engineer of food scientist. In elementary school she competed in many engineering challenges at the Baltomore Museum of Industry. As a 4-H member, Kaitlyn has also been involved in engineering canp and other SETM related activities. She was a member of a VEX robotics team for one year, nd competed in the Seaperch competition in the spring of 2013. Kaitlyn is excited to be part of the Cubix3 FTC team this year, and enjoys building and documenting for the team. When she isn't doing robotics she enjoys reading, skiing, juggling, and singing.

Joshua Thomas is 17 years old, and has been homeschooled his whole life. He originally came from Denver Colorado and has only been in Maryland for a couple of years. He enjoys programming the robot as well as figuring out the electrical aspects. Since as long as he can remember Josh has been fixing and working on computers, currently he does freelance computer repair. When not building or programming the robot or fixing computers, Josh enjoys playing both acoustic and electric guitar.
